Rainbrain asked: I’m in a 75 mile bike tour and I’m relatively new to cycling. I’m trying to determine approximately how long it will take me to finish. I’m just wondering what the average speed per hour for a newcomer like myself would be. Any help would be appreciated.

pleaseanswwer asked: I am looking for a way to spend my time that will help keep me as fit as if i were a runner or involved in a school sport. I would like to know if biking can fit these requirements and if so, how much biking needs to be done. Will biking help me run the mile? Will it keep my interest? Any thoughts appreaciated.

I am thinking ten miles a day, how much can that compare to running?
I am thinking of serious exercise here.

Mann asked: Fall and winter is about to be coming up, and I want to wake up early in the mornings to bike. The problem I face is always breathing in the cold air, it’s really uncomfortable. My lips get dry real easily, the coughing gets in the way, etc.
So would you recommend a face mask? What kind? etc.

curious asked: The bike was given to me and I know nothing about it other than that it was probably built around 1985 (from what I read online) and that it has Tripple Butted tubing in the main tubes and “Manganese Steel Tubes” (according to what is written on the frame of the bike). I have the Cannondale bag and an extra seat. I’d like to sell this bike but have no idea what it’s worth. Any advice??

Yair S asked: I have a Giant mountain bike that has a stem that is low. I feel like a stem that is higher would be better when riding downhill. My question is, what is the usual stem degree for mountain biking? I live by the desert and some trails are very steep.
Thanks in advance.

mamakenna asked:
We don’t have a car and we have two parking spots so we put two bicycles in them. Today my landlord said it looks “tacky” and we need to move them. I feel I should be able to put them there. Does he have a legal right to say I can’t? Each apartment comes with two parking spots.
