I Lost My Nickname! asked:
What do you guys think of the Iron Horse bicycles? I rode a few and I have my own opinion… but I want to see what others feel about it. I am not purchasing one, but Id like a review.

do pocketbikes use the same chain as regular bicycles?
Levi asked:
hey i was just wondering if pocketbikes use the same kind of chain as regular bicycles, cause if so, it is cheaper to buy pocketbike sprockets than regular bicycle sprockets. thanks if anyone knows.

I need help deciding what type of bike to choose?
Jeff B asked:
me and my oldest brother are entering this bike tour next year called the Michigander bike tour and i need help deciding what type of bike to choose. it’s a week long ride where its on the road and on these old rail road tracks that have the rails pulled up. so would a road or hybrid bike be the best and if you have any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it.

How do I fit a front rack to a hybrid bike?
markgordonis asked:
I have bought a front rack suitable for a touring bike and am trying to fit this to a hybrid bike (short of time, no time to get another rack before I set off). Normally I’d attach the rack in two places – near the axle and to the front fork. However in a hybrid bike the front fork is of course thicker so I can’t use the normal U-Shaped clamp to attach rack to front fork. Is there any way round this? Thanks

Looking to buy a touring bike?
Two_Seven_Deuce asked:
I am looking to buy a bicycle for touring. I would like ot be able to put on some luggage bags and racks and do some overnighters and multiple-day tours and I plan on riding daily for fitness. My local dealer recommended a Trek 1500. I rode it and it felt nice but I think its more for amature racing than long-distance touring.
I would prefer an American made bike, but European would be OK – nothing made in China.
Does anyone know about Tommaso bikes?
Lastly, I am trying to stay around or under $1,000.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
When I say American or Euro I know its a given that Shimano is going to be some place on there.
As for the $1,000 price limit I just speaking of the bike not the accessories which I plan to add over time.
I am looking for an aluminum frame, maybe with carbon fiber forks. Basically I am looking for something similar to the Trek 1500 but more for touring.
